Turns out that if you want to get a bloody legend to play on your recording, all you have to do is ask.
Shane Kirk is a writer, broadcaster, musician, slow right arm bowler, retired goalkeeper and the author of both 'Do You Do Any Wings?' - his journal of a year spent playing in a covers band - and 'All These Little Pieces', a remarkably similar account of being in folk/country/pop/rock 'East Angliacana' group Songs from The Blue House. Shane now plays with Helen and The Neighbourhood Dogs, Picturehouse and (occasionally) The Star Club. He is married, and lives in 1987.
